Shoreline Community Church

November 2010 was a landmark month in the history of Shoreline Community Church. Four years and one day after becoming a church, we entered into our own newly remodeled facility, an old school now serving as the home of Shoreline Community Church. The first service in the new facility, which was supposed to be low key, drew 274 people. This was the most people Shoreline Community Church had ever drawn to any service. On November 21 we had our dedication service for the new facility and were blessed to have Gordon and Debby Anderson with us to lead the prayer of dedication.

Our Monday night Bible study is exploding with young people. Just today at the coffee shop, I ran into a young girl who had visited the group, and she was planning to be back with her friends next week. We’ve seen this ministry expand beyond military families to college students and young adults. Today we are averaging in the fifties in attendance every week, including the children. We are looking at the very real possibility of moving the study into the church sanctuary in the next few weeks if we keep growing.

God is at work in the hearts and lives of those attending Shoreline, and we are so blessed to be a small part of what He is doing.
