We are slowly seeing an unexpected ministry develop in the local mall. After various ministry events in the mall (clowning, Adopt-a-Senior mall stand, Community Day fund raisers, and stands at Volunteer Day & the job fair), as well as walking the mall for exercise, a friendship evangelism ministry has naturally developed.

Though not an official title, Gale and I have become mall chaplains. We have become well known and trusted friends of many and have had many opportunities to minister to, pray with, and encourage store and mall managers and employees, as well as members of the general public who frequent the mall. It has been exciting to watch God open hearts and lives in this unique way! We have seen several come to church and have directed others to church, have prayed with or for many, and have even been able to orchestrate help for those in serious need. It is a real privilege to have God use us to make a difference in so many hearts and lives in this way!
