Partnerships

Last Friday night I went to a banquet for InFaith’s Kids for Christ in Dallas, led by Joe and Lindsey Anderson. It was a pretty incredible experience, as kids and supporters of the ministry packed the room, getting together to raise money for Christmas gifts for the urban poor children Joe and Lindsey work with.

What was amazing to me was not only the ministry that Joe and Lindsey have, but how important partnerships are to them. They partner with other youth ministry organizations and churches and groups that are concerned about the same things they are concerned about. Joe has become sort of a catalyst to bring people together, and he’s thinking about the next step with these partnerships.

The night reminded me that we can’t do things alone. God does not desire for us to be islands and live in isolation. He intends for us to work with the entire body of Christ to accomplish His work on our planet.
