I was thinking about all the things that I do to make my life easier – where I put my resources, where I spend my leisure time, the kinds of conversations we have around our home, the relationships I have with my children and my in-laws – all those things to set up a stable, sound house for my kids to come home to and grow up in. Yet, I also have been convicted more and more in recent days how much we do on our own, how much the real spirit of the house is the relationship that those who live in it have with the Lord Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
