Brooke serves in a rural mountain community surrounding Forward Bible Camp, where many families live in remote wooded areas and travel into town for school or church. The community is largely made up of working-class families, with many parents employed in trades, service industries, or seasonal outdoor work. Some families face financial challenges or limited access to consistent resources due to their location.
While some families are active in local churches, others have little regular church involvement. As a result, many children who attend camp or youth group have had limited exposure to biblical teaching. Camp and youth ministry provide a welcoming environment where kids can hear the gospel, build relationships, and ask meaningful questions about faith.
There is a strong need for consistency and intentional discipleship, especially among youth. Many students benefit from adults who regularly invest in their lives and walk alongside them spiritually. Through camp programs and ongoing youth connections, Brooke helps create spaces where children and teens can grow in their understanding of Jesus and experience His love in tangible ways.
Brooke and her husband, Seth, were married in November, and Forward Bible Camp has played a meaningful role in their story. They met while serving at camp, where their friendship grew alongside a shared calling to ministry. Now living in Georgetown, California, they continue serving together at camp and at their local church, Calvary Chapel Georgetown Divide. They are grateful for the opportunity to minister side by side in a community that has deeply shaped their faith and calling.
