Ian serves at a rural camp in the Western Sierras of Northern California called Forward Bible Camp. The camp serves lower- and middle-class families across Northern California, where the population is largely non-religious; the camp is a light in the darkness.
Ian sees a community in need of love. Many of the kids they welcome haven't experienced genuine love, and that is exactly what Jesus provides. The camp shows every student how Jesus loves them, primarily through their cabin leaders, while ensuring that every staff member is available to spend time with the youth.
Ian has worked at the camp as a summer staffer for over four years before becoming an InFaith missionary intern. He is currently a student at Jessup University.
