Over the past twenty years on the Iron Range of Minnesota we have worn many different hats as God has opened many different opportunities to serve the people on our field. From Vacation Bible Schools, release-time ministry, and camping ministry to nursing-home ministry, the Adopt-a-Senior program, chaplain ministry, mentoring ministry, church and pastoral encouragement, and clowning ministry, our work has been quite diverse as we have ministered to children, teens, adults, senior citizens and co-laborers in Christ.
Our current ministry slate includes:
- interim pastorate, North Country Christian Center, Eveleth
- nursing home chapel services at Edgewood Vista, Virginia; WillowWood, Eveleth; and Chestnut Grove, Virginia
- a quarterly memorial service at Edgewood Vista and a chaplain ministry to staff & families
- the Adopt-a-Senior program, which provides for the material, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents at Christmas, Easter, and at various times throughout the year
- Sa-Ke-Sa Bible Camp in June each summer
- Vacation Bible Schools at various locations
- Silver Creek Ladies’ Aid, Two Harbors
- mall outreach opportunities / “mall chaplains”
- mentoring ministry
- Beebo & Abbee Gospel Clowning
- visitation and encouragement to local pastors and folks we cross paths with on the journey
