It is amazing to me how busy you can be in a small community with a small population. In one month I counted 40 meetings, 34 messages, and over 140 visits. People everywhere need the Lord, and it seems the smaller the group, the more you see the Lord work. God seems to work one-on-one and in personal ways.
I sometimes think to get the Word out you have to go big, making mass appeals and large statements. God doesn’t seem to agree with me, at least here. As I tell the kids in my released-time class, “If you disagree with God, you’re wrong.”
That’s okay; I don’t mind being wrong. God is bigger than my plans and does what is His plan, and ultimately that is what I want. So I keep busy working in small ways in small places and watch God do grand things.
