Royal Welcome

Carmen and Willy met my wife, Maureen, and me at the door with one of the most enthusiastic greetings we have had in a long time. They jumped and ran around with wild vocal harmony that was matched only by their excitement; our arrival had been announced. I guess that’s what you do when you’re a Chihuahua!

Just then “Jim,” their master, with his wife “Sally,” showed up and invited us in. They had invited us for lunch. We had a wonderful meal, but the best part of our visit, after our royal welcome by Carmen and Willy, was the rest of the afternoon. Jim and his wife, now retired, had made a career serving in the Navy, traveling the globe with one purpose: to share their love of Christ. Continue
