We are now InFaith

Whether you reached us from a web search or another website, our name and logo are probably new to you. You may be wondering what this new organization called “InFaith” is all about. But InFaith is not new; we’re an old organization with a new name.

You may have heard of American Missionary Fellowship or the American Sunday School Union. That’s us. We are still active in the United States, still introducing others to our Lord. We have not changed our Statement of Faith or our way of using whatever methods are most effective to communicate the unchanging truth of God’s Word within our changing culture.

As our field staff is continually finding new ways to express our faith in Christ, we realized on a national level that it was time to update our name and design a fresh, new look to help us better communicate the work God continues to do through our mission. We wanted a name that would describe the basis for the way we live – our faith in Christ – and would encourage others to join us in our work among the people of the United States.

To honor our rich history, we have chosen “An American Mission” as a tagline for our name. We believe this tagline, an echo of our previous name, is especially suitable for our mission, not only because we focus on serving in the United States, but also because our eclectic ministry methods reflect the character of America itself. We are a nation of individuals from many different backgrounds and cultures, and we use many different ministry approaches to serve these people.

We hope you will be inspired by the stories you find on our website and will join us as a donor, volunteer, or field staff member. We want you to be a part of our mission as we introduce others to Jesus and help them get to know Him better.

If you have any questions about the name change that are not answered above, please use this form to ask us. We will answer privately through email and, if we believe others may have the same question, post the answer here. (We will not post your email address.)
