Awele serves in Dallas, Texas. Being the third largest city in Texas and the ninth largest city in the U.S., Dallas has an extremely diverse and multicultural background. The particular area Awele serves is both urban and suburban. This makes for a dynamic mix of community that she hopes to impact through her ministry. There is a great need for people to come alongside one another and spread the love of Christ.
After seeing the need in her community, Awele felt the call to bereavement ministry. She works with Beloved Angels, an InFaith ministry that ministers to women who suffer from the loss of a child. Beloved Angels Ministry aims to meet the needs of the entire family. Awele wants to provide emotional and physical support for mothers, understanding, and camaraderie for fathers, and compassionate and appropriate care for the siblings.
Awele became an approved candidate with InFaith in 2020.
Awele is from West Africa and has a bachelor’s degree in Health Science, and a B.A. Legal Jurisprudence both from the University of Benin. Awele also has an M.A. in Human Resource Management with an emphasis on personnel development from Middlesex University, London, UK. She has recently completed her Master of Divinity degree from ACU and her Doctor of Ministry degree from Hardin-Simmons University.
Awele is a dedicated minister who has served as a full-time minister for over eighteen years and has worked professionally with team-building proficiency. She has worked as a chaplain for seven years. She now volunteers as a hospice chaplain for two local health care providers in Houston.
