Mark Helmberger

- My Local
- My Reach
- My Self
Mark Helmberger serves in an urban community of Portland, Oregon. Portland is ranked third in the United States for least number of residents who attend church. There are many who have never heard the message of hope and love in the gospel, and also many who refuse to listen. There is a great need for a spiritual awakening in this community.
After seeing the need in his community, Mark began sharing the gospel through Woodland Park Chapel. As co-pastor there, Mark works with others in the congregation to reach the community through church services, weekly Bible studies, and summer camps for the local youth.
Mark is also taking training classes at Portland Adventist Medical Center in order to become a hospital chaplain.
Mark has served as InFaith field staff since 2013.
He received an M.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies at Western Seminary in 2013.
