Scott & Leslie Stevens

Scott and Leslie Stevens serve in San Diego County. It’s a community of diverse backgrounds, from retirees to underprivileged classes. Some struggle with drug and alcohol abuse, while others enjoy the quiet life the area provides.
The Stevens say the area has been hurt by local churches. Many have been taken advantage of by churches with single pastoral leadership. Because of this, trust often needs to be reestablished through a plurality of leadership that also remains faithful to the teaching and leadership the Lord desires.
Scott says, “These communities need local churches that teach God’s word as He has given to us with a family atmosphere that cares not only for the flock but also the community as a whole.”
After seeing the need in their community, Scott and Leslie set to work reestablishing trust in the church through a family atmosphere of believers who love God, love others, and discipleship.
They work hard in the local community through church planting, disciple making, Bible study, leadership training, mentoring, counseling, community outreach, and teaching God’s Word.
Scott and Leslie are currently ministering to a small rural desert community located in San Diego County. This area has small populations and a great need for the gospel.
Scott and Leslie Stevens became approved candidates with InFaith in 2019.
Scott has a background in Messianic Studies. He is a church elder and licensed pastor who serves with Leslie. Together they have raised five children. Both Scott and Leslie are dedicated to sharing the gospel to all.
