Thomas & Evlyn Bump
- Our Local
- Our Reach
- Our Self
Thomas and Evlyn’s local is New Era, Michigan which has a small population of under 500. The Bumps are able to reach into the heart of the community and the area around them. There are many small towns and churches all around them, which makes for a great location for their ministry.
The majority of the area is middle income. There are farmers, factory workers, and other jobs of that nature. Due to the nature of the community, there are many small churches all throughout their local.
Thomas and Evlyn reach much of the rural areas in their state. They see all kinds of people across the small communities, but the common need is that they need the gospel.
They meet the needs of their community by helping out in several types of ministry. Thomas is a leader in camp ministry, and the Director of Child Evangelism Fellowship for Michigan. He helps supply pastors to small churches who are in need of one and helps teach teachers and children workers by sharing the gospel with them.
The Bumps have served as InFaith field staff since 2021.
Thomas and Evlyn Bump have been in ministry for over 40 years. Thomas has been ministering in churches as he pastors and his wife teaches. He has a BA from Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina and a MDiv from Grace Theological Seminary, Warsaw, IN.
Thomas has been a leader in camp ministry, Director of Child Evangelism Fellowship in Michigan, and went to Delaware to restart the CEF ministry there.
