FAQ'S
I'm a little confused. Can you explain the relationship between InFaith, the InFaith missionary I will work with, and the ministry I'll be serving?
Great question! When you join InFaith for the summer, you are applying for a job with InFaith. The InFaith missionary that you will work with will be your supervisor for the summer. You will work for InFaith under the supervision of one of our missionaries in whatever ministry you are assigned by your supervisor. So if you are serving at Camp Jesus, you aren't employed by the camp, but by InFaith.
Wait, do you mean I get paid?
That's right! You will raise the cost of your entire summer mission with InFaith. For this, InFaith agrees to pay you up to $1000 a week. Check out our FAQ page to learn more.
How old do I need to be to apply?
Anyone over the age of 16 can serve with us. If you are sensing God leading you to do something more this summer and want to work alongside others reaching people for Christ, prayerfully consider applying. Many high school and college students (even some adults and retirees with extra time!) join us for the summer and combine mission with a summer job.
What is the time commitment?
You will serve with one of more than 160 InFaith field staff members in 33 states. You may spend the whole summer in one place or you may travel across several states. How long you serve depends on lots of things like your schedule and especially the needs of our field staff. Once you've been accepted and are connected with your InFaith field staff supervisor, you will determine when you will begin serving. You must serve at least two weeks, but you may serve for the whole summer.
