Andrae Lamar Ransom

Andrae serves as the evening full-time chaplain in addition to providing educational training and mentorship to new CPE residents at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare where he completed 2 years of CPE. He has an M.Div. in Healthcare from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Florida State University as well as Board Certified through the Spiritual Care Association. He writes, “My call to hospital chaplaincy arose out of my obedience to Jesus Christ in Matthew 9:35-38. As a follower and servant of our Lord he has gifted me with the ability to minister to those who are most vulnerable due to sickness, trauma, and grief.” Andrae was ordained in 2008 by the New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Ministries, Inc. in Sanford, Florida and served on their pastoral staff from 2011-2014. He is married to Angel and they have a 4-year old daughter.
