Bob Miles serves in Bremerton, and some other local communities of western Washington.
After seeing the need in his community, Bob began serving as a chaplain in senior facilities in Bremerton and Port Orchard. He leads regular chapel services, Bible studies, and prayer meetings at two complexes, and does visitation at several other local facilities, time and energy permitting. “It has been a privilege to be able to represent the Lord and His people in places where a lot of folks don’t feel like going,” Bob explains.
In addition to his role as chaplain, Bob has also been involved in AWANA for over twenty-five years. He currently leads the third- to sixth-grade boys every Wednesday night. Bob has put hundreds of Bible verses to music, and has composed in five foregin languages (German, Spanish, Greek, Hebrew, and Aramic). Bob also serves at Olympic Bible Camp during the one-week junior camp over the summer.
Bob has served as InFaith field staff since 1989.
After giving his first Bible message in a senior care facility at the age of nineteen, Bob felt a call to serve in his community. He began ministry with InFaith short-term in 1984, before becoming a permanent part of InFaith’s team in 1989. He has served in Washington since joining InFaith, and his roots and longevity in the community have helped him develop relationships that enable his ministry to grow.
