Edna & Marty Ziegler

- Our Self
Marty and Edna Ziegler serve in Stafford, their Base Camp, a small rural farming community in south-central Kansas. The community is socio-economically diverse and agriculturally based. The local churches are primarily protestant with church attendance being about 25%. Like any other community, there is a need for Christ. While there are many in the area who lead healthy and happy lives, there are still those who suffer with poverty and addiction.
After seeing the needs in their community, the Zieglers began seeking out God-directed opportunities to touch the lives of others in their local area and beyond. Reaching local, they teach Bibles studies to men and women in the local outreach center and Sunday school classes at their church. Reaching beyond, they travel around the central United States to speak at churches, camps, RV parks, and other local events. For several months a year they park their fifth wheel in South Texas where they serve as chaplains through Christian Resort Ministries where Marty preaches at the park chapel. Marty and Edna also lead Bible studies at the park and do home and hospital visits with the park residents.
The Zieglers have served as InFaith field staff since May 2019.
Edna and Marty Ziegler have been married for thirty-eight years, have three incredible adult children married to wonderful spouses, and blessed with four delightful grandchildren. They praise God for sustaining their marriage with His love and by blessing them with a good sense of humor. Now having grown “older and wiser” the Zieglers desire to take everything God has taught them and share it with everyone they meet.
Under the guidance and support of InFaith and the wisdom and prayers of close friends and family, the Zieglers load up their thirty-foot fifth-wheel, pulled by their Ford truck, and go as God leads.
