Elizabeth and Matthew Ziegler serve in Stillwater, Oklahoma, a thriving “micropolitan” home to Oklahoma State University. The town has approximately 45,000 regular residents and upwards of 65,000 during the school year. Situated conveniently between Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Stillwater has a small town feel while still providing larger city amenities.
Being a university town, Stillwater is a melting pot of different religions, cultures, and backgrounds. Even though it is comfortably set in the Bible Belt, there is an evident lack of solid, biblical teaching and upbringing.
There is a significant need for Bible based, gospel-centered discipleship that brings hope to individuals and relationships.
After seeing the needs in their community, the Zieglers began a ministry to meet, disciple, and equip the students of Oklahoma State University, as well as, the other residents of Stillwater. The Zieglers say, “Our hope and prayer is that they will leave Stillwater and go to their ends of the earth and make disciples! We are also here to help those who are hurting in their relationships and singleness find hope in our unfathomable Savior.”
Elizabeth and Matthew Ziegler became approved candidates with InFaith in 2019.
The Zieglers are an energetic family of five. Elizabeth and Matthew have been blessed with three kids— Maverick, Anslee, and Leo.
Matthew’s parents, Marty and Edna Ziegler, are field staff with InFaith and were instrumental in bringing them to the field!
