Hannah Rhiza

Hannah serves as staff chaplain at Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital, Los Angeles. She completed an M. Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Law for John Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York, NY. She was ordained by Eastside Christian Church, Anaheim, CA. Hannah writes: “At present, I am responsible for ministering to both believers in Christ and non-believers alike who are at a moment of crisis: in trauma without hope, while facing life-altering and existence questioning circumstances. The human condition regardless of sickness, injury, and the end of life do not discriminate, regardless of disposition in life. Such times require showing Love as Christ would to all—to be present, holding space, ensuring all are seen and heard. I choose to minister, anchored in the Word of God, upholding doctrine that reflects my personal theological belief in Christ, as a Christian chaplain.
