JACQUES VAN ROOYEN – AIR FORCE CHAPLAIN
Jacques Van Rooyen commissioned as a Chaplain (1st Lieutenant) in the Air Force and will serve at the Offut Air Force Base in Omaha, NE, previously serving in the Army National Guard for 7 years.
Jacques has been involved in ministry for 15 years as a pastor and as a missionary to China and Vancouver, BC. Most recently, he served as senior pastor of Christ the King Friday Harbor Church in Washington. He is ordained and completed an M. Div. from Liberty University. Jacques is married and has 2 children. Jacques writes, “As an Air Force Chaplain, I’m looking forward to be able to provide the spiritual mentorship and shepherding required to enable others to experience the fullness of God and to comprehend the breadth, and length, and depth, and height of the love of Christ that passes knowledge.”
