Jonathan Shour (CH LT) NAVY
Jon transferred to Navy Duty Chaplaincy in 2021. His current assignment is to the Marine Corps School of Infantry - East, Camp Lejeune, NC. Jonathan left home to serve in the Air Force in 2005 and spent six years serving in California, Texas, and Maryland. During that time, he saw Chaplains first-hand and enjoyed both learning from them and benefitting from their guidance during his time as an enlisted Airman. It was from a chaplain's prodding that Jonathan began pursuing his education in order to become a military chaplain. Jonathan received his B.A. in Ministry: Counseling for Christian Ministries, from Nazarene Bible College in 2011, a M.Div. at Multnomah Bible Seminary, and received ordination from Real Life Ministries, Post Falls, Idaho in November 2016. Jon served as an Air Force IMA chaplain to the 341st MW, Malstrom AFB, Montana before being reappointed to Active Duty Air Force Chaplaincy and serving at Goodfellow AFB, Texas. He is married to Rebecca and they have 3 children.
