Joshua Uribe – Army Chaplain Candidate
While serving in the military as an 11B (infantryman), Joshua felt called to help fellow soldiers receive the Word of God. It began during basic training, when he read his Bible and other soldiers started asking him about it. He began leading Bible studies both during basic training and later with his unit. Today, with the support of his church, he leads a men’s group at home.
Career highlights for Joshua include joining the infantry and supporting his state during some of its darkest times. Another major accomplishment—years in the making—was earning his bachelor’s degree. Most recently, he was honored to be endorsed as an Army Chaplain Candidate.
