LENELL JOHNSON – (CH 2LT) ARMY

Lenell is an Army Reservist chaplain and serves the 1186th Deployment and Distribution Support Battalion in Jacksonville, FL. In addition, he is a Hospital Chaplain for Orlando Health and Advent Health in Florida and completed 5 CPE Units. Lenell has served in ministry as a Youth Pastor and Outreach Pastor. Lenell writes, “Since my salvation in Christ, I have always had a calling to help those who have been emotionally wounded, that goes beyond the physical. When I served in the military in 2001, I saw a Chaplain service for the soldiers, and I could see the blessings this Chaplain had on the soldiers. I knew that God was leading me in that same direction to help and to minister to those who have been wounded in life.” Lenell completed a MAT from God’s Bible School and College in Cincinnati, OH, and an M. Div. from Andersonville Theological Seminary and is working towards a D. Min. at the same school.
