Mark served in the Army National Guard for 6 years and returned in 2018 as a Military chaplain to serve, pastor and counsel the soldiers in his unit. Mark writes, “I have walked in the shoes of the soldiers I am wishing to serve. I know what many of them and their families will face when being deployed and want to be there to assist in any way that I can. My focus in doctoral studies was how to help the millennial generation become and stay active in church in a post-secondary educational world. I would like to use what I have learned in the lives of the soldiers that would be entrusted to me.” Mark is married to Stacey and they have four children.
