Local Reach
Currently, Brooke is focused on reaching the suburbs of Austin, TX. The Austin area is a melting pot of cultures and religions and is blessed with many wonderful local churches. Being in a major metropolitan area, there is great diversity in the economic backgrounds of the residents. Brooke aims to serve all people regardless of their location, beliefs, or background. She eventually hopes to provide resource information for all major areas in every state.
Brooke provides a list of resources to meet the immediate needs of those seeking safety. Her ministry also aims to raise awareness about lesser-known forms of abuse. She identifies a significant gap: the lack of a comprehensive list of resources for those who have escaped or hope to escape abuse. Brooke also sees a need for greater knowledge about the types of abuse and what scripture says about it. She believes that increased awareness can combat the negative stigmas that both women and men face when seeking freedom from their abusers. Through testimonials, she aims to provide hope and a sense of community. Eventually, Brooke hopes to offer mentorship with certified mental health counselors and licensed psychologists.
Brooke became a missionary with InFaith in 2024. She is currently a student at Capella University, working on a BA in Psychology with a focus on counseling, and is a certified Mental Health Coach specializing in trauma.
