Joe and Lindsey Anderson serve in Dallas, Texas, an area with many under-resourced urban communities. This area is in desperate need of long-term, community-based missionaries. To address this need, the Andersons began serving children, teens, and adults through a number of ministries.
Local Reach
The Andersons established a “gospel eco-system” by partnering with the community and directing Kids for Christ, Teens for Christ, and Homemakers for Christ ministries in inner city Dallas. Through these ministries, they guide young people through various life stages. These ministries also train leaders to carry on the work in communities throughout the Dallas area. Site leaders take a relational approach to ministry, which allows them to walk through times of crisis with young people growing through the team’s ministries. Many of these leaders are products of the Andersons' ministries.
Joe and Lindsey, InFaith area coordinators for Texas, oversee field staff engaged in refugee ministry; police, military, and hospital chaplaincies; and church, camp, and inner city ministry. They have been serving as InFaith field staff since 2005.
Joe has a B.A. from Criswell Bible College, an M.A. in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University, and an M.A. in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary. Joe thoroughly enjoys serving Landon and Luke's Scout Troop on adventures and local service projects in his InFaith ministry. The Andersons have four children.
Joe and Lindsey grew up in the ministries they are now leading with InFaith. They enjoy the long-term committed relationships of residents and ministry partners living in their InFaith ministry communities. Roseland Homes, a community led by the Andersons, has been an InFaith ministry site for over 30 years and continues to be a place of genuine, transformational, exciting, challenging, and growing ministry. Joe and Lindsey see opportunities for outreach and discipleship everywhere in their neighborhood, community, city, metroplex, and state.
