John and Amber’s ministry is centered on fostering Kingdom growth through hands-on local outreach. They believe that when the body of Christ walks alongside individuals and families in their time of need, God works in powerful ways. By meeting people directly in their chaos and demonstrating Christ’s love through tangible action, they open doors for Him to do transformative work in hearts and homes.

Together, their mission is to meet practical needs—from home repairs and vehicle maintenance to custom home modifications for major life transitions. John facilitates these opportunities and invites fellow Christians to serve, while Amber joins the team to support and expand their reach. Their ministry focuses on serving the widowed, elderly, single parents, and families navigating special needs, creating a compassionate network of support in their local community and beyond.

Local Reach

Butler County, Ohio, has pockets of affluence, yet many surrounding communities experience nearly double the national poverty rate. The population is largely made up of blue-collar, middle-class families, and the religious landscape is diverse, with nearly every major world religion represented.

John and Amber see a deep need for Christ’s love in their local community. They believe that for this mission to be realized, the church must be the hands and feet of Jesus in a practical, tangible way. The body of Christ needs to set aside minor theological differences to unite in growing God’s Kingdom—coming together to love one another and extend that love to a world in need. Butler County craves this kind of love, and it is the responsibility of Christ’s followers to share it.

Together, John and Amber are committed to meeting individuals and families in their struggles, offering practical support while sharing the hope of the Gospel. By meeting immediate physical needs—such as home repairs, vehicle maintenance, and accessibility modifications—they create open doors for spiritual transformation. While John coordinates projects and mobilizes volunteers, Amber focuses on building intentional, caring relationships with the women they serve, offering encouragement, companionship, and spiritual support.

Key groups they serve in their community include:

  • The widowed and the elderly
  • Single parents
  • Families with special-needs children
  • Small local churches needing support

John became a missionary with InFaith in 2025, and Amber is now stepping alongside him full-time to support and expand the reach of their growing ministry. Butler County has been home to both of them—it’s where they met in high school, currently raise their family, and attend their local church. God has blessed them with three healthy children who share their heart for service, each in their own way.

Having lived in various economic areas within the region, John and Amber have gained a broad perspective on different walks of life. Growing up in a missionary household instilled in John a deep love for people, while Amber’s life was transformed when she found Jesus as a teenager. Together, their unique journeys have prepared them for this shared calling—loving others alongside their brothers and sisters in Christ to advance Kingdom growth, starting right at home and expanding outward.
