Local Reach
Kevin serves in Central Placer and Western Nevada Counties, located in the Northern California Sierra Nevada Foothills—an area famously known as the birthplace of the California Gold Rush of 1848, which led to one of the largest migrations in U.S. history. The region is home to three historic cities: Auburn, Grass Valley, and Nevada City, where the independent gold rush spirit remains strong today.
Many people move to this area to escape city life and embrace the freedom of a rural setting. Additionally, it is a popular retirement destination, with residents 65 and older making up over 25% of the population. About 40% of the population identifies with a religious affiliation, with Protestants (19%) and Catholics (15%) being the largest groups.
Seasoned Servants facilitates Bible studies for the elderly and incarcerated, advocates for seniors to protect them from scams—especially related to home services—and continues seeking ways to support the homeless in re-entering society.
Given the large elderly population, many assisted living facilities are filled with residents eager for the Word of God. Additionally, many seniors living alone are targeted by scammers and need community advocates. Meanwhile, both prison outreach and homeless ministry remain areas of ongoing need.
Kevin Minto became a missionary associate with InFaith in 2025. He is currently pursuing a Christian Leadership degree through the Christian Leaders Institute and is actively involved in his local church’s prison and homeless ministries.
When founding Seasoned Servants, Kevin sought a ministry partnership that would allow him to focus on direct outreach rather than administrative hurdles. By the grace of God, a fellow Brother in Christ introduced him to InFaith, which became the perfect home for his mission.
