Local Reach
Lori directs Evergreen Bible Camp/Camp Evergreen which is a wonderful multigenerational family setting in which volunteers of all ages serve year to year and many campers view it as the highlight of their year. It is always a blessing to watch how God orchestrates, works through His people, and provides for the needs of the camp as we do all we can to keep costs down and make it affordable for families. Evergreen Events provide opportunities to continue these “family gatherings” periodically throughout the school year as we gather for a few hours of a fun activity, worship, devotional, food & fellowship. It also blesses Lori’s heart to be able to bring some of the camp family to a local nursing home periodically for a service of sharing God’s love and truths through music.
Lori has a heart for one-on-one ministry and bringing Scriptural truth to the difficulties of this earthly life. Seeing and experiencing the need for Bible-based counseling, yet knowing how the cost prohibits many from accessing it, she acquired a degree in Psychology with a Marriage and Family emphasis from the University of Northwestern. She continues to keep herself educated through conferences, webinars, and other materials. She has found more of Christ’s freedom and joy through the counseling she has received, and she desires to share that with others.
Lori also has a heart for the rural churches. She continues to serve as a pianist and in children’s ministry at the Hustletown Community Church where she is a teacher in the local LifeWise religious release program.
Lori has served with InFaith since March of 2007.
Lori is blessed to be active in the lives of the families of their two adult daughters, their husbands, and seven wonderful grandchildren.
