Mike lives in the city of Richmond, where his ministry reaches anywhere from the church to the suburbs. The people he serves range from teens to those in their 70s and older. The church community is diverse, representing several backgrounds and a wide range of financial situations.
Mike hopes to edify and encourage believers while also being part of God’s plan to seek and save the lost, particularly those who have faced difficult childhoods or challenging life circumstances. His ministry is rooted in the timeless truth that people need to know the God of the Bible and understand that incredible gift of Christ and salvation. He strives to help others live gratefully in response to that gift by following Jesus’ command to love God, love people, and share the gospel.
Mike became an HCML resident with InFaith in 2025. He came to faith later in life and began attending Hope Church around 2013, where his life direction began to change, slowly at first, then more intentionally over the past several years. Through prayer and conversations with mentors, Mike recognized God’s call to step into a new and exciting role in His Kingdom. Thankfully, Hope Church has provided an ideal path through the HCML program in partnership with InFaith, allowing Mike to pursue this next step in ministry with purpose and support.
