Patricia ministers in Booneville, a small town in rural Appalachia, Eastern Kentucky. She has called Booneville home for over 41 years and deeply appreciates the beauty of the land and the goodness in people's hearts. While she sees the kindness of those who are always willing to lend a hand, she also recognizes the deep need for Jesus in the community. Patricia encounters people of all ages, from the very young to the elderly, who are in need of Christ's love. In her ministry, she focuses on conveying that everyone is loved by a Savior who is greater than any struggles they may face.
Since beginning her ministry, Patricia has primarily reached people through her love of music. She views music as a powerful tool to unite people, regardless of age or background. Through her original songs, Patricia shares her personal relationship with Jesus, including the struggles she has faced. She hopes that by being open about her faith journey, others will see that Jesus is the answer to whatever challenges they may encounter.
Patricia has had the opportunity to travel to different churches, lead worship, and engage in solo ministry. She is involved in nursing home ministry, leads youth worship on Wednesday nights at her church, participates in jail ministry, and serves as an FCA huddle leader during the school year. Additionally, she shares her music at camps, women's events, community gatherings, and festivals. Patricia is also invited to speak at various events and is always open to such opportunities.
Patricia became a missionary candidate with InFaith in 2024. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 21 years and they have two daughters. Her oldest daughter, 19, is a sophomore in college, and her youngest, 6, is starting 1st grade. Patricia has lived in Booneville all her life and has been involved in ministry since she was 18. She loves her community and is passionate about serving in her hometown. Patricia began singing and playing guitar in church shortly after graduating high school and has performed in many different churches and venues over the years. She only learned about InFaith earlier this year, but after hearing about the organization, she knew they were the answer to a prayer she had been praying for several months. Patricia is excited to see what God will do on this new journey!
