Paul & Micah Craig

Paul and Micah Craig serve primarily in Newberry Springs, a rural area on the California Desert Field in southern California. Most of the communities are small towns in the high desert, and several of the churches, there have bi-vocational pastors. Many residents in these communities do not attend church, and many churches in the area lack strong children’s ministries and youth groups.

In the churches that exist on California’s High Desert, there is a great need for sound biblical preaching. Local kids also need to experience and understand the love of Jesus instead of trying to fill the hole in their hearts with earthly pleasures and gains. Strong Christian leaders who can bring these youth the life-saving gospel message are vitally important.

After seeing the need in their community, the Craigs began serving local children and teens through a number of ministries. They lead mid-week youth services for teens and young adults during the school year. During the summer, they lead two weeks of camp at Joy Bible Camp, one week of backpacking, and five weeks of Vacation Bible School. Paul and Micah are also involved in five weekend retreats, youth winter camps, discipleship retreat, and men’s and women’s retreats throughout the year.

“We strive to partner with as many communities as we can so that the youth leaders on our field would be encouraged and the good news of salvation would reach those who need to hear it,” Paul writes. “My goal is always to model Christ to these students so that they might put their trust in Jesus.”

The Craigs have served as InFaith field staff since 2005.

Paul’s parents, Larry and Lisa Craig have served faithfully with InFaith for over forty years. He grew up on the mission field and helped his parents in their ministry growing up. With years of training and experience and a clear calling from the Lord to serve on the mission field, Paul and Micah, with their three young children, continue to serve alongside his parents in southern California. Their entire income is provided through the faithful support of churches and individual donors.
