Recognizing the need to cultivate present and future Christ-like servant leaders, Scott focuses on serving the diverse children from rural churches with varying socio-economic backgrounds who attend Camp of the Risen Son. His aim is to ensure that every child feels encouraged and valued in Christ, fostering growth in their faith. Scott also attends and contributes to Bridgeport Community Chapel by leading small groups, nurturing leaders, and leading worship, occasionally incorporating creative elements such as puppetry.
