Recognizing the need to cultivate present and future Christ-like servant leaders, Scott focuses on serving the diverse children from rural churches with varying socio-economic backgrounds who attend Camp of the Risen Son. His aim is to ensure that every child feels encouraged and valued in Christ, fostering growth in their faith. Scott also contributes to Bridge Community Chapel by leading small groups, nurturing leaders, and leading worship, occasionally incorporating creative elements such as puppetry.

At Camp of the Risen Son, Scott dedicates himself to fulfilling any role required, whether it's assisting with programs, organizing games, or delivering speeches, always with a spirit of service and adaptability. He extends his influence beyond the camp, engaging in speaking engagements and training sessions to empower camp leaders and alleviate staff burnout. His focus with the youth is on nurturing humility and strength in their faith in Christ.

Scott has been affiliated with InFaith since 2024. Prior to this, he taught weekday Bible classes in Dalles and Silverton. With six years of experience as a horse camp program director and a lifelong involvement in various Christian camps, Scott brings a wealth of experience to his role. He holds a BS in Business from Western Oregon University and is a Maxwell Certified speaker, trainer, and coach. Scott has been happily married to his wife, Charlene, for 15 years, and they are blessed with five children and several pets.
