Sherri’s ministry is devoted to sharing the Gospel with children during the most spiritually formative years of their lives. Through Released Time and After School Bible Clubs held in public schools, she helps kids build a foundation in God’s Word and connects them with local churches. She’s also committed to equipping others to do the same, multiplying the impact of the ministry across communities.
Sherri serves in Westmoreland and Fayette Counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania, just southeast of Pittsburgh. The region is a mix of small towns, rolling hills, and tight-knit communities. Westmoreland leans more suburban, while Fayette has a rugged, rural charm and faces more economic challenges.
Many of the children in these areas experience emotional and spiritual needs. Some come from homes affected by poverty, instability, or lack of consistent support. Others simply haven’t had the opportunity to encounter God’s Word in a way that feels personal and accessible. Regardless of their background, these kids are hungry for mentorship, safe relationships, and hope.
There’s a growing disconnect between children and the church, not out of resistance, but from lack of exposure. Most people come to faith between the ages of 4 and 14, yet many children today aren’t attending church at all. Sherri’s ministry bridges that gap by meeting kids where they are—in public schools—and introducing them to the love of Jesus through Scripture, discipleship, and connection to the body of Christ.
Sherri became a missionary candidate with InFaith in 2025. She is also a proud mother of two wonderful daughters.
