Steve & Barb Molsee

Steve and Barb Molsee serve in southeastern Idaho, a rural area teeming with agricultural work, like raising cattle and growing potatoes, grain, and hay. There are rugged mountains and pristine fishing streams within a few hours drive of the Molsees’ home in Shelley.

Southeastern Idaho is in the heart of Mormon country, and is heavily influenced by its religion and culture. Many people, especially youth and young adults, are deceived and misled by the Mormon religion or completely burnt out by the bombardment of it, and want nothing to do with God as a result. There is a screaming need amongst youth for a relationship with Jesus. Partying and being tough are seen as the preferred lifestyle.

After seeing the need in their community, the Molsees began ministering to anyone God put in their path who would listen to the gospel message. “We offer Jesus as the answer, whatever your situation may be,” Steve explains.

Steve and Barb Molsee serve in a rural area of southeastern Idaho. Steve serves as pulpit supply on request at various churches in the Snake River Plain and at Arbon Valley Bible Church. Steve serves on the steering committee for East Idaho Pastors Coalition and regularly meets with area pastors for prayer. He currently also meets with many in the area who are partnering with Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, for an upcoming event in September featuring Will Graham and the Look Up Tour. Barb is a retired Registered Nurse.

The Molsees were instrumental in establishing Old Faithful Christian Ranch in Island Park, Idaho and served there over 20 years. Steve facilitates the Upper Valley Ministers Group in the Upper Snake River Valley and serves on the committee of Eastern Idaho Pastors Coalition. He is actively engaged in regular prayer meetings with local pastors and enjoys leading worship and speaking at retreats and camps hosted by OFCR. He can often be found lending a hand in construction or building projects that simply require physical labor and a time investment.

The Molsees have served as InFaith field staff since 1996.

Steve describes himself as a country boy in love with Jesus, often found scheming “outside of the box” of traditional Christian ministry. Faith in Christ is the most important characteristic of the Molsees’ lives.
