Titus Awokuse

Titus was elected to the Board on May 16, 2016. He is Chairperson and Professor in the Dept. of Agricultural, Food and Resource Economics at Michigan State University. He earned a Ph.D. in agricultural and applied economics from Texas A&M, and is an internationally respected scholar who has published his research in top field economic journals. Titus has consulted for private businesses, national governments, international development agencies, and non-governmental organizations. In recent years, he has served in his church as an elder, Bible study and prayer ministry leader, and volunteered as a board member for various nonprofit organizations. He and his wife, Tina, are blessed with three children.
