David's ministry is primarily focused in a suburban town near Salem, Oregon, nestled on the west side of the Willamette River in the picturesque Willamette Valley. His heart is for the overlooked—those burdened by trauma, poverty, incarceration, or the weight of their past—and his mission is to meet them with hope, dignity, and the Gospel.
Local Reach
Through his prison ministry, David leads Bible studies, offers one-on-one spiritual guidance, and builds lasting connections with men seeking redemption and a new direction. His presence behind prison walls is a lifeline to many, and his deep conviction to “remember the prisoners” shapes the heart of his ministry.
Outside the prison walls, David continues to pour into his community through men’s discipleship, mentoring men from young adulthood and up through regular meetups and skill-based service. One of the practical ways he serves is through vehicle repair and maintenance, using his background as a mechanic to not only teach but also assist those in need.
In keeping with James 1:27 — “Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble…” — David extends his outreach to single moms and struggling families, providing free labor for car repairs and covering parts when needed. It’s one of the many tangible ways he brings Christ’s love to life in his community.
David became an approved candidate with InFaith in 2022.
Reflecting on his journey, David acknowledges the transformative power of his faith, stating, "He redeemed me and my family. I owe Jesus my life and am so privileged to be able to serve Him in this way." David is married to his wife Rhandie, and they have three children together, Lily, Elijah, and Makayla.
