Facilities Manager at Galilee Bible Camp
We are searching for a Facilities Manager for Galilee Bible Camp (GBC) in LaFollette, Tennessee. The Facilities Manager will maintain 10 acres of developed camp grounds and facilities, as well as plan and execute new building projects across 50 acres of undeveloped land.
East Tennessee is a beautiful place to live! GBC is located on Norris Lake, one of the nicest lakes in the southeast. Within a short drive, there are also several state parks and the Great Smoky Mountains. LaFollette is a small town in Campbell County, a low-income county in rural Appalachia. The area struggles under the weight of substance abuse, broken homes, and poverty.
Since 1958, Galilee Bible Camp has provided local children and youth with the opportunity to enjoy summer camp while learning about God’s great love. Currently, the camp ministers to many unchurched children raised by grandparents and great grandparents.
Current camp leadership has developed an expanded vision for the camp which could powerfully impact underserved children throughout the region. Since facility development will play an integral role in this vision, it is a great opportunity for the right candidate to use their vocational expertise to touch lives for Christ!
