566 This summer, Nathan and Meagan Bath traveled throughout Oregon and Idaho, encouraging InFaith missionaries and serving at youth camps. Nathan spoke and led music at Camp of the Risen Son and Fir Point Bible Camp, sharing the Gospel with joyful groups of young campers. Along the way, they connected with fellow missionaries—from Larry & Vonnie Pratt’s puppet ministry in North Idaho to Tom & Caroline Hiscox encouraging small churches in Oregon. The Baths also visited Cocolalla, where they were able to witness fellow InFaith missionaries Robert and Cindy McDowall faithfully serving and supporting campers. 567

681 On their Iowa farm, Judy and Jerry Wiedemeier wrapped up a bustling summer of ministry—seven weekly equine classes, parades, nursing home visits, and horse rides for all ages. Despite heat, humidity, and rain delaying their Pen Expansion Project, Judy is choosing to focus on God’s timing instead of her own expectations. She writes, “I realized if I continue to focus on my expectations and desires, I would be discouraged at the progress we've made, so I am choosing to focus on God's timing instead. He's got this. He was the one who prompted us to do the project. He will supply.” The 12-week “Right Lead” season is coming to a close, with their August 23rd Open House offering music, a meal, horse demonstrations, and a glimpse of the ministry’s future plans. 682

Salvation Stories from VBS to Camp

793 794

Serving in Virginia and surrounding areas, Jody and Beth Stevens saw God move mightily through Vacation Bible Schools and Bible camp. Using themes like The God of Space and Wonder Junction, they taught about the vastness of creation and the personal love of the Creator. Multiple children and teens trusted Christ for salvation, and some returned this summer to take the next step in baptism. At Camp Red Arrow, Jody spoke on “Ordinary People; Extraordinary God,” where seven campers received Christ and two found assurance of their salvation!

880 In Montana, Dave and Lisa Carroll celebrated a full summer of ministry. At camp, 54 kids enjoyed river time, hiking, games, and crafts—but the greatest joy came when three placed their faith in Jesus. God provided an abundance of cabin leaders, allowing every child a spot. At Wolf Creek VBS, children eagerly asked questions and responded to the teaching, including one returning visitor whose faith has grown since trusting Christ in 2023. The Carrolls rejoice in God’s goodness to their family and look forward to new ministry and family adventures in the months ahead.  881

Camps reaching the Next Generation

1007 With programs like summer camp being an accessible way to reach our younger generations spiritually, outdoor ministry provides a great opportunity for those who may feel uncomfortable in traditional church settings. Through outdoor challenges and experiences, kids and teenagers are able to look away from their screens and instead, up and around at God’s creation. Featured below Camp WeWoSeJe
